Sleep is key to maintaining good health, both mental and physical. So anything we can do to improve it, is a positive. That’s part of the philosophy of THE DROWSY SLEEP CO, which they’re celebrating this Mental Health Awareness Week.

When is mental health awareness week?

Mental Health Awareness Week runs from Monday 15 May to Sunday 21 May 2023.

What is DROWSY doing?

In what has been an historically difficult year for mental health, championing the services that support those in times of crisis feels more important than ever. With sleep such an integral part of our mental wellbeing, THE DROWSY SLEEP CO. have long been committed to bettering mental health through their partnership with leading mental health charity, MIND

Culminating their efforts to raise awareness and fund vital services, DROWSY will donate £1 from every sleep mask sold this year to MIND in aid of Mental Health Awareness Week.

ABOUT DROWSY

Drowsy was founded by brothers Thom and Rich Hemelryk after 5 years managing hospitality businesses together. A combination of business stress, busy lifestyles and bad habits led them to develop a serious case of chronic insomnia. Drowsy is the result of their own personal journey with sleep.

“Quite simply we believe that quality products give superior sleep. So we strive to bring quality to every aspect of Drowsy products, offering you an unrivalled sleeping experience. We believe that sleep is the key to physical and mental wellbeing. We actively seek to aid our users in creating the moments of calm that lead to a lifetime of better sleep.”

MIND X DROWSY

ABOUT MIND

Mind is the leading mental health charity in England and Wales. They provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. They campaign to improve services, raise awareness, promote understanding, and provide support directly to those who need it most. Mind has a network of over 140 local minds across England and Wales which offer specialised services based on the needs of the communities they support.

Every year, one in four people will experience a mental health problem. But hundreds of thousands of them are still struggling. Mind believes that no-one should have to face a mental health problem alone.

Their mission is simple. Mind won’t give up until everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets the support and respect they deserve.
