Reusable cleansing pads are kinder to your skin and kinder to the planet than single-use cotton pads or makeup wipes. Finding the best makeup pads isn’t easy however: a lot of them can stain or aren’t durable. Monday’s Child wanted to create cleansing pads that could be used again and again without compromising on quality, and that brought active benefits to the skin.
The Charcoal Reusable Bamboo Cleansing Pads are an environmentally-friendly alternative to single-use cotton pads or makeup wipes for makeup removal, cleansing and toning. They are velvet-soft, triple-layered, unbleached, natural, vegan, cruelty-free and suitable for all skin types. They are also made from super sustainable bamboo (80%) and cotton (20%) fibres.
Infused with charcoal, they have naturally antibacterial qualities – and very gently exfoliate the skin with each use. Each pad can be reused hundreds of times. Each pack includes seven bamboo cleansing pads, one for every day of the week – alongside a mesh bag to wash and store your pads in.
There are plenty of environmental benefits to using reusable bamboo pads. Less waste goes to landfill, the packaging is plastic-free and less water is consumed in their production as compared with even reusable cotton pads.
Care Instructions
To use your pads, apply your chosen makeup remover / cleanser directly onto the pad, and wipe across the skin. Use each pad once before washing. To care for your pads, rinse the pad straight after use with warm water in the bathroom sink. Pop your pads in the little mesh bag provided and put in the washing machine on a 30-40 degree wash to clean alongside other linens. It is recommended to wash with a fragrance-free detergent. Leave out to dry in the mesh bag and do not iron or tumble dry.
