This week bought some exciting news as we welcomed a brand new client to the Flipside family. We are thrilled to announce that we will be representing new skincare brand Plant Dpt!
Formulated to counteract daily skin damage and designed with sensitive skin in mind, the new Smart Plant Pro range uses the power of active plant extracts to give skin the detox it needs whilst also supporting the planet.
Aiming to rebuild the lost connection between humans and nature, Plant Dpt. has been over two years in-the-making. Brothers Thom and Richard Hemelryk worked with expert biochemists and conducted rigorous dermatological testing in their search for a gentle, plant-based solution to sensitive skin with clinical-grade results.
With a fierce passion for the natural world, the founders wanted to create a brand that not only reflected their love of plants but also helped protect them. Plant Dpt. are partnering with rainforest charity Cool Earth to raise awareness and funding for rainforest communities working to halt deforestation, donating £1 from every product sold.
With the range launching in mid-May, we can’t wait to reveal the exciting plans we have in store for our latest client!
As we celebrated Earth Day, Boody was named one of the best sustainable brands to have on your radar. The Evening Standard article appeared on Yahoo!, praising Boody active for its workout-friendly fibres.
Another of our clients famed for their eco-conscious efforts is vegan, cruelty-free beauty brand, Arbonne. Following the launch of their latest skincare range, the BrightenUp Illuminating Serum received a glowing review on Glamour’s Glam Drop.
With the sun having reared its head of late, SPF was once again top of the agenda. The Independent’s IndyBest rated the ABC Arbonne Baby Care Water Resistant Sunscreen among the very best picks for babies and adults alike.
“If you’re looking for an extremely gentle sunscreen you can use from birth, this paediatrician-tested pick from Arbonne is a fantastic choice. The non-greasy, mineral formula is reassuringly thick and takes a bit of rubbing in, but absorbs quickly leaving skin feeling velvety soft. Aloe vera, chamomile and vitamin E help to moisturise and calm the skin, all while offering sun protection with SPF30. Arbonne Baby Care Sunscreen feels more like a high-end moisturiser – in fact, we loved it so much we used it as a sunscreen for our face too.”
The clean beauty brand also picked up a wonderful mention on Crave this week. The AgeWell Neck Cream was highlighted as a top pick to take care of the oft-neglected area.
From skincare to haircare, Refinery29 tipped RevitaLash‘s lock-strengthening shampoo to be one of the ultimate allies of fine and thinning hair. This week also saw RevitaLash International Educator Natalia Ferrara join Alice Hart Davis for an informative Instagram Live Q&A on the range. ICYMI, you can catch the IGTV here!
Our favourite affordable beauty brands were also seen in print this week! CATRICE‘s new lip-saving treats featured in Chat and Pick Me Up! while essence made an appearance in Pick Me Up! and The Sun.
That brings this week’s round up to a close. We’ll be back next week with the latest Flipside news! Until then, have a read of last week’s round up, here. Or, our latest blog post, here.
Have a lovely weekend,
