From luxury mailers, award wins and of course some amazing coverage, it’s been another fantastic week at Flipside PR!
No Secrets are continuing to clean up in this year’s beauty awards. Earlier this week, it was announced that their One Hand & Body Butter had won ‘Best Body Cream’ in the Hip & Healthy Beauty Awards 2021. Celebrating the best in clean beauty, the award acknowledged the kind-to-skin formula that refuses to compromise on decadence:
“It crams in so many all-natural hydrating ingredients that we can’t possibly list them all, but rest assured there’s not one nasty or harsh chemical in sight. Instead, it’s a rich blend of plant oils and butters that sink seamlessly into the skin to nourish and hydrate from top to toe. Because who said plant-based beauty can’t be luxurious?” We second that!
No Secrets weren’t the only plant-based beauty brand to receive some exciting awards news this week. On Tuesday, it was revealed that the Babington Soap Co. had been selected as a finalist in the Pure Beauty Global Awards 2021. Their Plant-Based Moisturising Hand Sanitiser has been shortlisted for both ‘Best New Hand and Nail Product’ and ‘Best New Wellness Product of 2021’!
To celebrate the launch of RevitaLash’s new and improved hair care collection, this week also saw us send out some seriously luxury mailers. As well as being vegan-friendly, the new formulas feature a cleaner ingredients list and an invigorating unisex scent. Combatting brittleness and breakage while restoring hair to feel thicker and look fuller, the range promises to truly upgrade your shower experience. Paired with a silk turban and waterproof speaker, what’s not to love?
Following the launch of their new Spring/Summer Update, CATRICE picked up a flurry of fabulous features in Closer, Chat, Pick Me Up! and Best! New beauty bargains from essence also topped the agenda this week, making an appearance in the Daily Mail and New! Proving low-price points don’t have to mean compromising on quality, affordable beauty continues to grow from strength to strength. Stylist certainly seem to agree, as this week they named essence’s Lash Princess as the best affordable mascara.
“Essence’s mascaras are proof that you don’t have to spend a lot on products for good quality. This cult mascara has a conic-shaped brush that gives lashes length, volume and serious definition”.
The brand’s beauty bargains also appeared on the Mail Online! Elsa McAlonan included essence’s latest fast-drying nail polish in amongst her beauty upgrades.
DermaQuest’s CBD skincare was back in print this week, this time receiving a lovely review in Top Santé magazine. The cosmeceutical brand also appeared in Northern Life and Yorkshire Women’s Life.
Meanwhile, No Secrets founder Lorna Veale spoke to The Sunday Post, sharing her top tips for some well-deserved TLC. Plus, BAAPS were seen in Closer and The Week while Boody’s bamboo basics featured in The Sun and The Times!
A firm favourite of Fashion Director Anna Murphy, Boody were included in The Times’ top 30 sustainable fashion brands. “This may be too much information, but my bottom hasn’t been in anything else since I came across Boody”. Same Anna, same.
