Flipside Friday Round Up

We are back again to wrap up the week with our weekly coverage round-up! But first things first, today we are celebrating some fantastic news, as the government announced that all beauty services in England can resume from August 1. Which means that close contact services, such as eyebrow threading and facial treatments will be able to resume from next month. Amazing news for our clients who have been waiting eagerly to get their salons back up and running!

Now onto some of this week’s coverage highlights:

Starting with our brand-new client, The British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS) who have had a fantastic week! With mentions in The Daily Record and The Sun, as well as The Telegraph and 10 regional newspapers, BAAPS have weighed in on the lockdown “Zoom Boom” causing an increase in virtual consultations, urging the public to remain cautious:

“Safety is always a top priority and BAAPS urges patients to ensure that that they find a surgeon who is registered and has all the appropriate qualifications, including having the letters “FRCS plast” after their name.”

Plus, when it comes to the best makeup in the game right now, the Catrice HD Liquid Coverage foundation is taking the top spot, with features on Heat World and Evoke this week.

“We always imagine that if you spend more you get better, but really that’s not always the case in makeup. As proof, a very budget-friendly foundation has caught our eye and it costs just €7.95 how good is that? The airbrush finish of the makeup belies the fact that it’s sweatproof, and fans are raving about it online in reviews.”

That rounds up this week’s coverage highlights, however make sure you read last week’s roundup here and check out this week’s articles on top tips of ‘new norm’ skin issues from skin experts, as well as more fantastic reviews on the Catrice foundation!

Have a sunny weekend and we will see you next Friday!
