Instagram model Alice Goodwin, who has a 335k social media following and is a mother on one underwent the FemiLift procedure at top clinic DD Clinical. The results have been a gamechanger for her intimate health and sex life.
Alice, 33 who lives in Staffordshire with pro footballer husband Jermaine Pennant, admits that post birth 11 years ago, she noticed a difference in her body and in particular the laxity within her vaginal wall.
“As a model I make my living by keeping in shape but like all women, I found pregnancy really changed my body. While I worked hard to get strong and toned externally, over the years I’ve noticed that my vaginal muscles are not as strong as they once were,” she says.
“I remember doing a really hot Valentine’s photo-shoot last year and wearing gorgeous lacy red lingerie. I got so many compliments and likes on Instagram but while I looked sexy on the outside, I was conscious that internally, as a woman, things could be better.
“There’s too much of a taboo around women’s vaginas. We need to be more open about it and what’s available to improve our quality of life. Don’t suffer in silence I say.”
“After doing my research I opted for FemiLift. It’s basically vaginal muscle tightening using a simple, pain-free laser wand. I now feel fantastic inside and outside. And let’s just say, Jermaine is not complaining!”
She adds:” Jermaine was so supportive about my concerns that things ‘down there’ just haven’t been as tight as they used to be. It’s just something a woman knows about even if her man is happy. I’ve also had concerns about ‘lady leaks’ as any woman does and it’s definitely helped in that department too.”
Alice had three 15-minute sessions at DD Clinical, one of the top aesthetic health and beauty centres in the north, and a favourite with a host of celebrities and influencers.
FemiLift requires three sessions lasting just 10 to 15 minutes each. Many find they feel an immediate difference as quickly as after the first session. It’s a safe and minimally-invasive laser treatment which has helped over 200,000 women world-wide reap the benefits.
It must be carried out by a medically trained doctor or gynaecologist. There are very little to no side-effects and practically no downtime. This means women can resume their everyday life immediately after the procedure, with many opting to get the treatment done on their lunch break.
As well as boosting sex life, the treatment is designed for women who suffer with urinary leaking such as SUI stress urinary incontinence – one of the most common health concerns among women over 30 with up 69% of women experiencing it at some point in their lives. Vaginal rejuvenation is also a wonderfully effective treatment for menopausal women too as it helps boost laxity.
“Only medically trained experts should carry out the treatment,” stresses DD Clinical’s director Daniela Dobbin. “Our team of top doctors usually recommend avoiding sex for about 48 hours after the treatment. We’ve the very latest in aesthetic laser technology and the results are often life-changing.”
Describing the procedure, Alice says: “Jermaine came with me and held my hand in my final two sessions. It was a really sweet and loving experience with a fair few giggles along the way.
“It’s not at all painful or embarrassing at all. In fact, it’s quite relaxing and there was certainly for me an almost immediate effect within 24 hours.
“Now, I feel extra confident about my body. It’s a wonderful gift to yourself for any woman especially post-birth or those wanting to boost their sex life.”
Jermaine adds: “Alice to me is already the most beautiful and sexy woman in the world but when she told me she wanted to give the treatment a go, I was all for it. I totally support her in wanting to look and feel her best.”
