essence is Europe’s number one cosmetic brand and is distributed in more than 80 countries worldwide. It was launched in the UK in May 2014 and is available via Wilko stores.

The PR brief

Our PR work includes press release writing and distribution, creative writing, media and blogger events, blogger and online challenges, product launches, expert commentary, product placements and brand positioning.


To update the essence brand positioning, we created the essence POP UP beauty bar in a nail studio in the heart of Soho where we invited press, VIP’s and bloggers to experience essence via manicure’s and makeovers with leading nail artists and makeup artists. Over 36 guests attended including national and consumer beauty press and beauty bloggers.

Some of our PR achievements for essence include:

224 press insertions in total across monthly, weekly and weekend print media, online and digital which resulted in a 63% increase in editorial coverage for the brand in just one year.

Bloggers and Digital Media

As part of our work with essence we support the essence social media platforms, engage with bloggers and create engaging digital content with titles like Cosmopolitan Online and Sunday Times Style. This increased interaction with the media and consumer engagement for the brand.
